Councillor Profile

I have lived in Dursley for 46 years, after moving from the Welsh coal mines to work in the Nuclear Industry. Firstly I lived in Cam for 23 years, then moved into Dursley Town in 1993.

I am married to Jane, we have three grown up children. One lives in Wotton under Edge, one in Bristol, and the other in Melbourne Australia. We are proud grandparents to six grand children.

After working in a number of disciplines throughout my working life, latterly as a Health & Safety Consultant I am now retired. I joined Dursley Town Council in 2014. I still get involved with Safety and Environmental issues and I am a member of the Road Safety Committee for Gloucestershire County Council. As a Dursley Town Councillor I take and active part on various committees e.g planning, staffing etc.

I lead an active life. I enjoy walking, gardening, DIY and travelling. I am a member, and a past President of Dursley Lions Club. I enjoy their companionship, the activities and take an active part in all their charity fund raising.
