Cyclists are very welcome in the town.
Dursley is home to the famous Pedersen Bicycle. At the end of the 19th Century the Danish inventor Mikael Pedersen came to Dursley with his design for a distinctive bicycle. With the support of Robert Ashton Lister the Dursley Pedersen was born! To find out more visit our Heritage Centre.
We have prominent cycle parking facilities located at the following places:
The Market Place
Outside Sainsbury's supermarket on Castle Street
Kingshill Road, by the traffic lights located at the parade of shops
We also have two bicycle shops in the town, Delta Bikes on Silver Street and Dursley Meccanica on Parsonage Street.
