Located behind the swimming pool, on Kingshill Road, the 'Rec' is home to Dursley Town AFC, and also provides 2 tennis courts, a petanque court, a street skateboading area, a variety of play equipment, and a huge expanse of green with glorious views to Cam Peak.

A new play park was opened in March 2015 and has been an excellent addition to the existing facilities.

The "Rec" also has a circuit of outdoor gym equipment.

Tennis for Free - the tennis courts at Dursley War Memorial Recreation Ground are open for public use free of charge. The key for the courts can be obtained from The Pulse (Swimming pool/leisure centre) reception, a refundable £5 deposit applies.

Petanque for Free - the boules are available to collect from The Pulse (Swimming pool/leisure centre) reception, for a refundable £5 deposit.

Kingshill Playpark

This small park was originally the walled garden to Kingshill House, and is held in trust for the children of Dursley. It is a traffic free space accessible by pedestrians only, and includes a wide range of play equipment
