New Deputy Mayor for Dursley

Following the resignation of Cllr Matt Nicholson, Dursley Town Council appointed a new Deputy Mayor at our Council meeting on Tuesday 3rd December. Cllr Loraine Patrick was unanimously voted as the Deputy Mayor for the remainder of the 2024/25 civic year.

Cllr Patrick is currently the longest serving Town Councillor and the Mayor congratulated her on the new role.

The Mayor on behalf of Council, expressed thanks to Councillor Nicholson for his service to Council, noting a long service award had previously been presented.
