EMERGENCY CLOSURE OF PUBLIC FOOTPATHS CDU 37 & CCA 100 (DURLSEY TOWN & CAM PARISH) STROUD DISTRICT

Gloucestershire County Council has by this emergency notice closed temporarily under Sections 14, 15 and 16 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) the footpath in the Schedule below.

SCHEDULE

Public Footpath CDU 37 which also forms part of the Cotswold Way National Trail at its junction with Public Footpath CDU 38 (Dursley) at OSGR ST 376186/198173 extending in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 220 metres to its junction with Public Footpath CCA 100 at OSGR ST 376275/198358 and indicated on the map by a bold solid black line marked A to B Public Footpath CCA 100 which also forms part of the Cotswold Way National Trail at its junction with Public Footpath CDU 37 (Dursley) at OSGR ST 376275/198358 extending in a generally north-easterly direction for approximately 1000 metres to its junction with unclassified road 41416 known as Drake Lane to Coldharbour Farm Lane at OSGR 377067/198877 and indicated on the map by a bold solid black line marked B to C

The paths fall within the Town of Dursley and Parish of Cam in the Stroud District, Gloucestershire.

The closure is necessary to protect the public due to a section of the trail being washed out alongside The Delkin.

Alternative Route – as indicated on the plan by a bold black dashed line marked A to D to E to F to C using footpaths CDU 37, CDU 34, CCA 98, Drake Lane and Coldharbour Road

Emergency and Pedestrian access to adjoining premises is to be maintained.
