Councillor Profile

I have lived in Dursley my whole life with my parents and brother. Our home: The Hollies, is one of the oldest and most historical properties in the town. I attended Cam Everlands and Rednock schools before continuing my education at Stroud College where I studied childcare.

Whilst studying at college I developed mental illness and I do have other health concerns including autism, dyslexia and crohns disease. I am currently transitioning from female to male as I am transgender. As Councillor, I do hope people would be able to talk to me about mental/physical illnesses or transgender issues. I can relate to these and the reason I joined Dursley Town Council is to help people.

I am a member of the Festive Dursley working group and I have ideas which would benefit the town and the residents which I hope as Councillor I can take forward. I have previously been involved with the Cam & Dursley branch of the Royal British Legion which included setting up a successful veteran's cafe.

My hobbies and interests include Harry Potter, Walt Disney and my dog, Teddy - an Irish Red Setter who even has his own Facebook page!
