I have lived in the area since the 1970's. I still feel how lucky I am to be surrounded by such wonderful countryside, to have the benefits of a small town with good facilities and to know there are people who care deeply about their community.

Having worked in local government, I thought I could make a contribution to the council and so have been a councillor for nearly 13 years, currently serving on the planning and policy and finance committees. I am also involved with Vibe youth facility management committee and the Neighbourhood Development Plan steering group.
