Car Parks

Parking

Dursley Town Council are responsible for the free to park long stay car park in Long Street Dursley. This car park is restricted by a 23 hour waiting limit and no return within 1 hour. These restrictions were introduced when the car park was open to maintain a turnover of spaces and to strike a balance between residents and visitor requirements.

The other public car parks within the town centre are managed by Gloucestershire County Council and Stroud District Council.

Gloucestershire County Council are responsible for:
Castle Street (at rear of shops) - Short Stay car-park.

Stroud District Council are responsible for :
Castle Street (Active Lifestyles Dursley Leisure Centre) - Short Stay car-park
May Lane - Long Stay car-park
Water Street - Short Stay car-park

On Street Parking Enforcement is the responsibility of Gloucestershire County Council.

Permit Parking

The Town Council have an agreement with Sainsburys whom allow 40 parking spaces to be allocated to local businesses.
