Dursley Sculpture & Play Trail at Twinberrow Woods
Where community made sculptures are set in a living cathedral of high forest Beech
In the years since its launch in 2008, the Dursley Sculpture & Play Trail has successfully encouraged many local residents and visitors to the area to appreciate Dursley's woodlands. Local groups of all ages and abilities have created the individual works, some sponsored by progressive local businesses and some working closely with professional sculptors helping to interpret creative ideas.
How to get there:
From Dursley take the A4135 towards Tetbury. Follow this route out through Dursley and up hill with Twinberrow Woods on the right hand side. At the top of the hill take a sharp right. Continue along this road until you see the sign for the Sculpture and Play Trail. There is parking on the left and right hand sides of the road.
Open up your senses, let your whole mind be in the woods & nowhere else, 'wander & wonder' as you slow down & take time to seek, see, touch, smell, listen & contemplate what you find along the trail.
Look out for the seasonal Halloween trail during the October half term holiday!
